Saraphina is a professional violinist with multiple degrees in Violin performance.

Playing violin since the age of three, and piano since the age of five, she recorded her first album with her all-violin quartet called 'Zimrah' at the young age of twelve. Saraphina won numerous Kiwanis festival awards growing up and has since gone on to win the concerto competition at York University, as well as the talent portion of Miss World Canada.

She graduated from the University of Toronto with a BA in Violin Performance and completed her ARCT from the Royal Conservatory of Music. In the second year of her undergraduate studies, Saraphina began playing the electric violin. Doing so inspired her to then pursue a Master's Degree, for which her thesis topic was the accompaniment of live instrumentation with DJs and popular music. She then studied at York Univerity where she completed her Master's Degree under the tutelage of the late Jacques Israelievitch. Beyond her top-tier accomplishments, she also attended the prestigious Chautauqua Institute on a full scholarship for four consecutive summers.

Saraphina has become globally renowned for her work as an electric violinist and performs for high-profile events across the globe, such as various NBA teams, and luxury brand events. She has also opened concerts for A-list artists including Diana Ross, Kendrick Lamar, Usher, and Gwen Stefani. She recently performed the world premiere of "Saraphina Violin Concerto" which was a concerto written for her with accompaniment by an Orchestra.

She has amassed a large social media following through her music and global performances and has become a worldwide influencer with a global reach across the music industry. She has released three singles and music videos, with three classical pieces to be released in the near future.

Saraphina completed her Bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto, also majoring in Violin Performance. Having played violin since the age of three and piano since the age of five, Saraphina’s achievements include recording an album at the age of thirteen, attending the prestigious Chautauqua Music Festival in New York four times on full scholarship and winning York University’s concerto competition.

 

Saraphina was the concertmaster of the York University Symphony from September 2009 to May 2011. Playing the violin, she also won an Arts scholarship worth $7,500 by virtue of winning the talent portion at the 2010 Miss World Canada Beauty Pageant. At the age of sixteen, she was featured as the new young artist at the Brantford Sanderson Centre for Performing Arts as a Violinist in a Solo Concert.

 

In 2005 Saraphina received her ARCT diploma in Violin performance, and has reached Grade 8 Piano at the Royal Conservatory of Music. Saraphina has been teaching regularly for the past eighteen years. During the eight-year existence of the Koffler Chamber Orchestra, Saraphina was a first violinist, and she also performed multiple times as a soloist. She was the principal second violinist in the Kindred Spirits Orchestra from 2012-2013.
